As there always has been, there is much confusion about the Cross of Christ amongst Christians. Growing movements to throw traditional Biblical understandings of the meaning of the Cross under the bus, are becoming more popular.

But this won't do - this is a crucial doctrine, the 'centre of our theology' said Martin Luther. Get this wrong, and both our understanding of God and the Christian life are under threat. We need to be clear what the Bible says!
