What is a hub?
An area of the uni where:
- A significant number of people gather to eat, study, hang
- There’s an outside and an inside space to meet and gather
- We can easily run our groups and events to proclaim Christ to everyone

What happens in a hub?
Hub groups and structures are run where students:
- New to Christianity can learn the message of the Bible easily.
- Who are Christians can grow in their faith and Bible understanding with others
- Can read the Bible one to one, or in triplets
- Can meet and get to know others in their hub
Who leads the hubs?
Each Hub has a leadership team consisting of Uni Bible Group Committee reps
How to join a hub
Students already at uni just turn up at one of the 3 hub locations to join. Check the times on hub pages for the most up to date hub activities.
New students who sign up to Uni Bible Group will be assigned to a Hub at Unistarters Day
What should people expect if they join a hub
Students should expect to be:
- Welcomed!
- Invited to join in a hub activity where you may:
- Read and study the Bible with a group of others
- Read the Bible and explore Christianity with one other person
- Spend time praying with others (or one other person)
- Play games or sport (inside or outside)
- Enjoy food and getting to know others
- A combination of the above!
- Invited to Bible Talks (Tues, Wed, Thurs 12:30-1:30)
- Treated as an individual, with care and concern whether they are a Christian or not
Can I choose my own hub, or swap hubs?
Yes, you can choose your own Hub. You can also swap hubs if there is another Hub activity that suits your timetable better or if you want to bring a friend along to another Hub group
