Why? Why are we here? Why are we born? Why do we live, laugh, look out into the world and ask, why? Why do we die? Why is there pain and death, sickness and suffering? Why do I care? Why do I cry out at the injustice and ask, why?
Our modern, scientific age says we're an advanced species of ape. We came here by chance. We'll die here by chance. In the meantime, between school and study, sex and dissatisfaction, work, wealth, family and friends, do what makes you happy. Be yourself. Reach for the stars.
But why? What's the point? Are there any answers to the deeper meaning of life, the universe and everything? Don't these tears mean I'm more than molecules, with matter and meaning and a maker?
2000 years ago, God came into the world and introduced himself. He said 'I made the world. I am the reason you live. I am the reason you love. I am why you laugh and look forward.' These were big claims. They're still big claims. But is there a better explanation? A better reason to live? At least check it out. You never know, maybe you'll find your why. And maybe it'll be far better than you ever imagined.
