About Prayer at Uni Bible Group

At Uni Bible Group, prayer is at the heart of everything we do. It’s how we express our dependence on God, align our hearts with His purposes, and call out to Him for His work in our lives, on campus, and beyond.

Why We Pray

  • God is Sovereign: We trust that God is in control and works through our prayers.
  • We Need Him: Prayer reminds us of our dependence on Him for everything.
  • It Changes Us: Prayer shapes our hearts and grows us to be more like Christ and have His Priorities
  • It Changes the World: Through prayer, we intercede for our friends, our campus, and the world.

When and Where We Pray

Prayer happens in the Hub locations as part of the regular rhythm of Uni Bible Group. Each hub provides dedicated times and spaces to meet and pray.

Our prayer times take place in

Ocean: Building 11

City: Library and Building 24

Mountain: Building 67

Hub Prayer Times

  • Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays: Prayer happens in the morning during Hub gatherings (9:00–9:30 AM). It’s a short and focused time to seek God together and start the day well.

What to Expect

  • Thank God for His goodness and faithfulness.
  • Pray for our campus, our friends, and Uni Bible Group ministries.
  • Ask God to work through His Word and Spirit to grow His kingdom.

How You Can Get Involved

  • Join a Hub Prayer Time: Simply turn up at your Hub location during the scheduled prayer time. You don’t need to prepare anything—just come as you are.
  • Share Prayer Points: Bring your own requests or praises to share with the group, or ask someone in your Hub to pray with you personally.
  • Pray for Others: During Hub prayer, you’ll have the opportunity to pray for your peers, your friends, and the university community.

Prayer in Action

Prayer in Uni Bible Group is more than a moment in the week—it’s a way of life. By praying together in our Hubs, we:

  • Build a group that depends on God.
  • Encourage one another to trust and grow in Him.
  • Intercede for the needs of others, on and off-campus.
